Michelle Shuff, artistMichelle Shuff is a professional visual artist, muralist and graphic designer. Shuff hails from Lancaster County. She received her B.A. in fine arts from Susquehanna University, where she held the distinctions of Dean’s List, University Scholar, National Honor Societies and graduated Magna Cum Laude with multiple departmental art honors. She also graduated with departmental honors from Pratt Institute with a Masters in Communication Design; emphasis in Computer Graphics. Additional studies have included courses at Millersville University, Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, and The Lancaster County Art Association.

As a muralist, Shuff designs, creates and paints florals, ceiling painting, faux finishing and children’s room murals. Her work is often seen in the Lancaster and Lebanon Parade of Homes Best of Show homes in addition to residences and local businesses.

In addition to her career as a fine artist and muralist, Shuff has held positions as an Art Director and Graphic Designer at local advertising agencies, and as an Adjunct Instructor at The Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. Shuff’s work in the design field has proven to be a valuable asset in developing both her style, technique, color selections and composition of her visual arts.

Her fine art paintings involve finding beauty in nature and capturing it, using bold vibrant colors which attract the viewer. Landscapes, florals and still life are the focus of her subject matter, and although Shuff works in many mediums, she is most commonly identified with oils, acrylics and watercolors. Shuff has shown work in local galleries, outdoor art shows and businesses in central Pennsylvania.
